Bread meets Coffee to Build Community
This is the kind of story that only happens (I believe) in small towns. It starts with Thanksgiving Coffee being an involved community business. The next phase is a remarkable Chief of Police from our town of Fort Bragg, CA. - Neil Cervenka - who thinks that you can't "arrest your way" out of all problems. Smart thinking! And there is more...
Add a small town, home based business called South Harbor Sourdough... They discovered the program and asked if they could bake a bread using the Resilient Roast. We connected them with the FBPD so they could help popularize the coffee... and it is delicious!
This is just another reason why we love living in a small town: creative thinking, creative baking, and "Not Just A Cup, But A Just Cup!"
